Light and Color
I thought that it was interesting to compare Newton's theory of light and color with Goethe's. The second film mentioned that Goethe saw more colors than Newton did. I was wondering how this was possible, especially considering that they were both toying with the same prism. It seems odd that a man as obsessive as Newton would forget to mention something like that. Do either of their theories fit with modern optics? On a side note, the second film eerily reminded me of one of those pre-set, nature themed screen savers on Windows!
