Cool Experiments, Bad Music

Despite the fact I will be humming the elevator music from movie #2 for the rest of my life, I thought some of the experiments they did in were very interesting. It's odd how shocking such simple properties of light are, but a lot of the experiments really surprised me (especially the one where they shone a beam of light through an empty box that had smoke outside of it). Light seems such a mundane thing that I think its often difficult to understand Goethe and Newton's fascination with it. I obviously have quite a few misconceptions about the nature of light, however.
