In Response to Kate

I too had a difficult time reading this. I absolutely cannot separate what I learned in Physics from what Newton actually said. I think my modern bias is too strong.  I thought I would blog post about answering one of the discussion questions that the editor had given in the commentary. I couldn't, however, come up with an answer to any of the questions. I literally just keep going back to the equations I learned in high school.

Has anyone found a way to overcome this bias, or is it okay that some of us seem to be stuck with h it?
